Tuesday morning, Lower School students embarked on an energy-saving adventure as The National Theater for Children presented “The Conservation Caper,” a show that teaches about energy and is sponsored by Duke Energy.

“Energy is being wasted everywhere you look, but Nikki Neutron and The Energized Guyz are here to help!” In this 25-minute educational play, Nikki takes on Dr. Maybe, a villain bent on wasting water and energy, and shows students how we all can do our part to save energy. In fact, The Conservation Caper has a goal to save 10 million kilowatt hours of energy during the 2016-17 school year. Will you join this mission?

TDS has the opportunity to win $2,500, and we need your help! We are participating in an energy conservation program from Duke Energy, and through this program, families and staff can request a FREE Energy Kit to be delivered to their homes. For every 100 kit requests from our school, we’ll earn $250, and the school that requests the most kits will win $2,500! Please help by requesting your FREE kit!
