Steps to Apply
Applicants are required to take a student assessment and to submit grade reports, teacher recommendations, and other supporting evidence of their academic and personal strengths.
- Submit an Application
- One teacher recommendation is required. You will need only the teacher’s name and email address to submit with your application. A questionnaire will be automatically sent to the teacher to be completed.
- Diagnostic or psychological evaluation results, if applicable
- If applying for financial assistance, submit a Grant & Aid Application
- Click the FACTS Financial Aid link at the top of the Online Admissions Portal.
- Schedule a student assessment
- The admissions office will contact you to schedule an assessment with your student.
- Submit an Application

- 1st – 4th-Grade applicants will be contacted to schedule as assessment after the application is completed.
- 5th-Grade applicants are asked to take the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) which measures verbal and quantitative ability, mathematics skills, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
- TDS will be hosting one ISEE testing session on February 11th, 9:00 AM. If you would like to register for this test date, please start the process here.
- If you would like to register for a different test date, please sign up on the ISEE website.

Please note that a $80 non-refundable application fee will be due at the time you submit your initial application. If this presents a financial hardship, please contact the Admissions Office.
