We have a few essential steps to the application process to help us better understand your student’s special abilities and potential.

  1. Submit an Application
    • Required Documentation:
    • One Teacher Recommendation
      You will only need to provide one teacher’s name and email address. A questionnaire will be automatically sent to the teacher to gather their insights.
    • Supplemental Documentation (if available):
    • Any Diagnostic or Psychological Evaluation Results
  2. Schedule an Assessment
    • TK & Kindergarten applicants are invited to visit TDS, which will include an assessment of their current academic readiness and social/emotional development.
      This required step offers us a glimpse into your student’s unique abilities and skills. We will share a scheduling link once your student’s application has been successfully completed.

    • If you’re interested in exploring tuition assistance, please complete a Clarity Application.

Remember, these requirements are crucial and help us create a comprehensive understanding of each child’s unique abilities, strengths, and needs.

Please note that a non-refundable application fee of $80 will be due upon submission of an application.
We understand that different families have various financial capacities, and if this payment poses a financial challenge for you, do not hesitate to reach out to our Enrollment Office. We’re here to discuss options and help ensure that financial constraints do not deter any child’s opportunity to apply and potentially join our school.

These notification dates are used by all schools in the Triangle Independent School Consortium (TISC), and apply to families who complete an application by January 17th, 2025. Applications received after this date will be considered on a rolling basis.
