After enjoying a relaxing Labor Day weekend, students returned to TDS on Tuesday refreshed and ready to learn. One highlight of my daily routine involves walking around campus to see your children in action. Today I witnessed eighth graders completing a measurement lab (outdoors) in science, fifth graders enjoying a read-aloud, fourth graders debating whether a meteor could have caused the Grand Canyon, first graders proudly sharing their stories and illustrations of how they spent their weekends, and so much more. I also had the opportunity to read to Kindergarten.

We’re sorry that parents cannot join us right now for lower school meetings, all-school assemblies, as mystery readers, and all the other ways that so many have grown accustomed to connecting with TDS over the years. While I realize it’s not the same, I did pull out my phone during a few of my campus tours. I hope you enjoy this 257 second peek into what’s happening inside (and outside) the walls of TDS!
