The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to TDS!
February 25th – March 1st
Hardin Academic Commons Area
(also open during after-school pick-up on select days
as well as during Parent/Teacher Conferences)
We invite you to attend the TDS Scholastic Book Fair, which begins on Monday, February 25th and runs through the morning of Friday, March 1st. The Fair offers a wide selection of book titles for students of every reading level. It also provides an opportunity for parents to assist our TK-8 teachers in building classroom libraries.
Come check out the wish lists! All teachers will have a wish list of books they’d love to add to their class libraries. Refreshing classroom libraries regularly gives kids a reason to keep reading. Each class will preview the Book Fair and have an opportunity to make a personal wish list and/or purchase from the Fair.
We have worked with Scholastic to provide a diverse selection of books this year! Take a look at our “Mirrors and Windows” booklist HERE to see a sample of some great recommended titles that will be available.
No cash? Use the Book Fair eWallet! Let your child shop cash-free with a digital payment option. Learn more on our Book Fair homepage and get started creating an account HERE. Any unused funds will be returned to you after the Fair.
Can’t make it? If you are unable to attend the Fair in person, we invite you to visit our Online Fair from February 17th to March 2nd. Books ordered will be mailed care of TDS. Additionally, if you’re short on time but want to contribute, consider purchasing a gift certificate for a teacher.
Want to volunteer? Parents help students locate books and run the registers. If interested, please contact Sheryl Blackwell.
Every purchase supports our school. We look forward to seeing you and your family at our Book Fair!
Happy reading,
Jenn Phillips Sheryl Blackwell
