Ms. Carnes’ advisory and Fourth Grade are collecting gently used/new children’s books for the annual Dream Big Book Drive for Book Harvest. Drop-off bins are available in the Hardin Academic Center and the MS Commons. It’s a great time to share the gift of books. TDS has been a sponsor of the Dream Big for many years.

Every year on MLK Day, we bring our BIG dreams to Durham Central Park for this community event that is part book drive, part food truck rodeo, part activity fair, part volunteer opportunity…and ALL celebration and fun! 2018 was a banner year for Book Harvest– our one millionth book year! — and we’re kicking off 2019 with BIGGER dreams than ever. We want you to join us: on January 21, 2019, from 1 to 4 p.m., Dream Big will be THE place to be!
