Every year in the LS Science Lab an amazing event happens – life! Over the last 28 days we have been carefully monitoring a set of duck eggs. Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes have learned about embryo development, the differences between chicks and ducklings, and the life cycle of ducks.
We just had 4 ducklings hatch! The ducklings will stay with us for a couple of weeks as we learn about their structures and behaviors before leaving for a happy life on the farm! Everyone can enjoy their progress on our webcam. Click HERE to view the ducklings!
