Don’t you wish you could make yourself exactly what you want for every meal? Let’s put aside the chicken nuggets and mac and cheese, or stop saying “not again” to what our parents make and dive into all of our kitchen’s possibilities ourselves! We’ll have fun, try to eat healthy, develop or hone our cooking skills, experiment in the kitchen, improve math and reading skills .. all in an engaging way, while expanding our culinary palates. Some of the activities included are: cooking, baking, outdoor play, arts & crafts and much more.

Amie Tedeschi is a fourth grade teacher at Triangle Day School. She enjoys both cooking and baking, especially her “famous” chocolate chip cookies. She loves cake decorating, collecting recipes, and exploring new cuisines. When she’s not in the kitchen, Ms. T. also likes reading, traveling, crafting, and singing. She’s looking forward to a sharing her favorite recipes and techniques this summer and learning from her students as well!
